The incident happened on Friday afternoon, Nov. 15, when the incident was reported at Fox Lane Middle School in Bedford, according to the Bedford Fire Department.
Arriving fire crews began isolating and ventilating the affected room while the Westchester County Hazmat team sent a representative to the scene.
After an investigation, first responders determined the product and exposures were "not significant" or critically harmful. Fox Lane staff then handled the remaining cleanup while all affected students were evaluated, treated, and released from the scene.
